Flower Girl Parade
Instead of the usual one flower girl carrying a basket with flower petals, why not try something different? This will be a sight people have not seen before but will remember for a long time. Have several Flower Girls!
Make it a parade of flower girls. Have each girl carry 1, 2 or more flowers. Once the flower girl gets up front she presents each Mother (Bride’s Mom & Groom’s Mom) with 1, 2, or more flowers. The Groom already has a ribbon in his pocket. The bride has a ribbon loosely attached to her bouquet.
When the Bride comes up front the minister will say;
”Who gives Bride to be married to Groom?” Then Dad takes his seat.
Bride goes to her Mother-In-Law and Groom goes to his Mother-In-Law. Each ties a ribbon around the flowers the Moms received from the flower girls. The ribbon has a special note attached to it saying;
“Thank you. For without YOU this day could not have been possible”
(plan to have a little vase with water sitting at Mom’s table at the reception table to keep her flowers fresh)
